Our challenging 18 hole layout features narrow, tree-lined fairways. The small greens put a premium on shot-making and short game skills.  At just over 6,000 yards, the course is short and very playable, but has brought some of the best players to their knees.

Water hazards come into play on 13 of the 18 holes. In addition, sand bunkers have been well-positioned on some fairways are around most greens.  With a par of 71, course rating of 69.6 and a slope of 119, the course plays differently each day depending on wind and conditions due to the elevation changes and pin locations.

Great care should be given to keep the ball in the well maintained blue grass fairways, as the course was well designed to benefit those who keep the ball in scoring positions.  Our greens are regarded as some of the best in Chicagoland.  Fast, true putting surfaces that hold a well struck shot keep our members shooting for the flag.

Our traditional fall event, the Men’s Charity Invitational, named after former MCC Board President and current member Marvin Rude, is a testament to our great conditions, as well over 100 of the state’s great players gather to compete on our fantastic layout for a 2-day event.
