The Creek
The Creek has a terrific layout meandering through ponds, wetlands and prairie grasses. The course plays at over 6,500 from the tips, offering enough length for the long hitters, but ample risk/reward scenarios to test golfers of all abilities. The course was designed by Buzz Didier and opened in 1993, and has hosted many events for the Illinois PGA and the Chicago District Golf Association.
The links style layout is fun and sporty with wide bent grass fairways and large greens. Numerous bunkers surround the greens to keep players on their toes. Though the course winds through the lovely Nettle Creek subdivision, players definitely can enjoy the feeling of being one with nature. The superior playing conditions framed by the native grass areas make the course a unique design for its location in rural Morris. The beautiful prairie environment rich with wildlife and plentiful wildflowers and native grasses combine at The Creek to create a remarkable golf experience.
*Please note, The Creek is only open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays.
